At Beyond Fitness, we’re passionate about blending movement with the great outdoors. Led by founder Kim Richardson—a seasoned ski instructor and personal trainer – we’re a collective of fitness professionals dedicated to crafting immersive retreats and training experiences. Our mission is to inspire you to move, explore, and reconnect with nature, all while achieving your personal wellness goals.
FOUNDER
Kim
Kim is the founder of Beyond Fitness and has been working as a sports coach for over ten years both as a ski instructor and within the fitness industry.
Kim is a qualified personal trainer and sports massage therapist who specialises in training people outdoors and hosting retreats across Scotland.
You’ll find her leading all the workouts, mobility and stretching sessions and the first one in for a cold water dip on our retreats!
Qualifications:
- NASM Level 3 Personal Trainer
- NASM Level 2 Fitness Instructor
- ITEC Level 3 Sports Massage
YOGA
Rebecca
Rebecca is a highly experienced yoga teacher with over five years of guiding students through mindful movement and holistic wellness practices. Her classes are rooted in dynamic Vinyasa yoga, blending breath and fluid movement to build strength, flexibility, and presence.
Known for her warm, grounded presence and intuitive teaching style, Rebecca creates a welcoming space for practitioners of all levels, encouraging deep connection to the body and breath both on and off the mat.
Qualifications:
- 200 hour yoga teacher training with BodyMindLife
- 40 hour Yin with Steph Wall
- 40 hour functional yoga anatomy with Steph Wall
- Level 3 personal trainer & level 2 fitness instructor
FOOD
Lisa
Lisa is a mixed movement specialist and yoga teacher with a passion for healthy cooking and recipe development. She has worked on plenty of retreats in both the role of chef and instructor, alongside supporting young athletes in the Scottish Surfing team with nutrition and performance.
You’ll find Lisa working on our Cairngorms retreat, where she will be ensuring we are all nourished and well fed during our stay!
